*The interest rate and APR will be 3.00% for the first six months. After the first six months the rate will be adjusted monthly to 0.25% below Wall Street Journal Prime during the 10-year draw period; and equal to the WSJ Prime rate, adjusted quarterly, during the 15-year repayment period. After the first six months, the interest rate will not go below 3.50% or above 18.00%. Based on these terms, and WSJ Prime = 3.25%, the variable APR would be 3.50% after the first 6 months. The minimum home equity line of credit available is $25,000. No closing costs for most borrowers: Ledyard National Bank will provide a Standard Closing Cost Credit to offset the appraisal, title search, flood determination, credit report, and recording fees. Exceptions not covered by the Standard Closing Cost Credit are non-standard high cost appraisals, transactions involving trusts or other non-standard title work, and lender’s title insurance applicable to first lien loans. The Standard Closing Cost Credit requires an active deposit account with Ledyard National Bank, and an initial draw of at least $25,000. New Hampshire residents and loans secured by property in NH are subject to a $350 prepayment penalty if the line of credit is paid off and closed within two years or origination. 10-year interest only revolving credit line with easy check-writing access during this draw period; automatically converts to a 15-year amortizing loan at the start of the eleventh year. Ability to draw from the credit line ends at the start of the amortization period. There will be a finance charge, based on the applicable rate, for each billing cycle when the balance is greater than zero. The $100 annual fee during the draw period is waived for the first year and there is no annual fee during the amortization period. Property insurance is required.
