Spencer Hayes joined Ledyard’s Private Banking division in 2020 and serves as an Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager, helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. He excels at managing wealth in times of transition, such as selling a business, real estate transactions, divorce, inheritance or multi-generational wealth transfer. He and his team provide clients with customized banking, community-based lending and sophisticated global wealth solutions, with a boutique feel. Spencer is focused on business development and management of Private Banking relationships in the Upper Valley, the New London/Sunapee Region and Concord, NH.
Spencer has built a career in banking and wealth management over the past 10 years, including six years at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Boston, working in both private banking and investments with professionals and families throughout New England, and three years at Bank of America as a Sales and Service Specialist in Arlington, MA
A native of Pomfret, VT, Spencer left Boston in 2019 to move back to the Upper Valley where he has happily re-engaged with his hometown community.

Gail Trottier

Gail Trottier is an Assistant Vice President and Private Banking Officer with more than 28 years of experience at Ledyard Bank. She was one of the original 12 employees when Ledyard opened its doors in 1991, has led many initiatives in the retail area during her tenure and has served as a subject matter expert in many parts of the Bank. Gail worked in the Branch and Operations groups of Ledyard prior to joining Private Banking in 2019. As a Private Banking Officer, Gail provides our clients with a first-class experience each and every day.
Gail has earned recognition at Ledyard for her client sales and service skills and takes pride in building relationships with individuals and families across multiple generations.
Prior to joining Ledyard, Gail was Branch Manager at First NH Bank (now Citizens Bank) in Hanover for 10 years.
She has been involved in numerous charitable organizations in the Upper Valley and was treasurer of the Lebanon Youth Hockey Association.
